Day 1: Arrive Nairobi, Transfer House of Waine
Upon arrival you will be picked up by your safari guide and transferred to House of Waine. House Of Waine is a family owned and run property and this is reflected in the name Waine which is made up of the initials of the family members. Originally a family House Of Waine, it was lovingly converted to a boutique hotel and eventually opened in 2004. The interior design takes its cue from the Matriarch of the family and is imbued with a timeless elegance much like her.
The hotel has 11 spacious rooms that are individually styled and their names reflect the different themes. 9 of the rooms can be Single/ Double or Twin rooms . All the large marble bathrooms are filled with natural light from the large windows.
Days 2 - 3: Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Wilson Airport, where you will board a flight to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is one of the best known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephant in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Days 4 - 5: Meru National Park
After breakfast you will be driven to the airstrip for your flight to Meru National Park. Made famous by conservationist Joy Adamson and the film based on her book “Born Free”, Meru National Park features 13 rivers and supports a wide range of diverse habitats. A paradise for bird watchers, there are several rare bird species found here. In the unspoilt and rugged landscape of Meru, enjoy game drives, safari walks or a cultural visit to the local community. Days 6 - 7: Samburu
After breakfast you will be driven to the airstrip where your flight will be awaiting to take you to Samburu, Sasaab Luxury Tented Camp. Enjoy twice daily game drives where you might see huge majestic elephant, lion, leopard and cheetah and all of the ‘special five’ which include the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich. In the hot and arid lowlands of the Northern districts of Kenya, featuring doum palms and over 450 species of birds, there are interesting experiences to keep you fascinated over the next day or two. Visit a Samburu community and learn about their way of life and culture. Take a camel safari, or even spend the night under the stars in a fly camp. Perched on the edge of a river valley, the architecture of Sasaab blends Swahili and Moroccan design principals in which the African heat is of primary consideration. Each of the nine canvas-sided rooms is over 100m² with private plunge pools and breath-taking views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya. Days 8 - 10: Maasai Mara
After a wholesome breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. Over the next few days take time to explore this wilderness area on game drives, walks or perhaps even spoil yourselves on a hot air balloon safari. The Maasai Mara experience is an exhilarating one! During the day, you go on a game drive through Masai Mara. The game reserve is best known for its wildebeest and zebra migration, which tends to pass through the area July to October, but many areas offer excellent game viewing year round. Breakfast and lunch at camp. We offer you the option to go on a balloon safari (for a surcharge) and to enjoy the bird’s eye view of Kenya.

Set amongst the forest at the foot of the scenic Oloololo escarpment (the rim of the Great Rift Valley) in Kenya’s iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, is the classic and elegant Bateleur Camp.

Day 11: Depart, Fly Nairobi
Enjoy your last early morning swim in the sea and breakfast before we wave a fond farewell as you make your way back to the airstrip. From here, you will board your scheduled light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport, where you will be picked up by our appointed safari guide who will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
